• I checked myself in the mirror, making sure that I was good to go. My plain pants were well ironed, the lines on my sleeves were straight; unlike their owner, and my hair was neatly combed.
• I had a date with Tyler in thirty minutes. We had been chatting for a while now, ever since that second hangout, and just yesterday, I asked if he wanted to have dinner with me, to which he verily responded yes. I couldn't tell if he saw it as a date or just another hangout, but I intended to keep my fingers crossed.
